I have always loathed the artificial items that pretend to be real. I hate, for example, light food, or vegan fake meat. That is why, up to now, I’ve often disliked artificial Christmas trees. They never deceive anyone, nevertheless they stubbornly persist in their mimic in a manner that I find most irritating and worthless. If these fake Christmas trees looked a bit less like actual trees, and more like representations representing actual trees, then I may not be so bothered by them, however as it is I am unable to stand them.
The problem is that, where I live, we are not allowed to have a real Christmas pine tree, nor do we really have the room to. My significant other has wanted to get a plastic Christmas tree for the last year or two, but I have been highly against it for the reasons presented earlier on. That is why I have decided to get a Pink Christmas Tree this holiday season. No one is going to believe that a Pink Christmas Tree is genuine for even an instant, however a Pink Christmas Tree is not looking to trick anyone into believing. Although it is garish and ugly, a Pink Christmas Tree is completely at home and honest about its garishness and tackiness, and so it really does not have the same offensive attributes to it as other fake Christmas trees do, in my view. Really, my wife thinks that i’m nuts, but a Pink Christmas Tree may be the only solution to our Christmas problems. It is an x-mas tree, which she wants, and it is not a low-priced facsimile, that is what I want. Rather, it is a extremely phony mockery.
I’ve decided to put the Pink Christmas Tree inside the window with the yard flamingos that have nothing to do until upcoming summer anyhow. Around them, I will place the most bright, garishly flashing Christmas lights that I can locate, and decorate the whole thing with cheap plastic garlands strung with little dollar store quarter bin toys. Then my Pink Christmas Tree will have that look that I have frequently imagined for it, that look of uncompromising falsehood. Maybe next year I will get a purple Christmas tree. I can only picture what wonders I possibly could work together with that one! Until then, the Pink Christmas Tree seriously hits the spot.
