Collect images of any interiors you like and then whenever you want to change your home, you can draw on your collection for ides of what you might like. You don’t even need to cut out the pictures if you just keep a collection of home design magazines.
The last time I changed my living room, in was able to pull out the exact style of pinch pleat drape I wanted to give to a local curtain maker to copy. Along with your magazines, keep a file of colors, carpet samples, squares of fabric and wallpaper and you will never be short of ideas. Once magazines are a couple of years old, it only makes sense to keep a few pages so tear out anything you want to keep so that your magazines do not take up too much space – you don’t want your home to look overrun with them – they are supposed to improve your environment, not make it messy!
