The other day I was surfing on the web looking for some really neat-looking Great Britain medals and ended up at the site of a british coin shop over in the UK that produces medals of all kind. I was surprised to see that one of the collectible memorabilia was Doctor Who. Wow, talk about longevity of a show! It’s been about 3 decades since I last saw Dr Who on PBS station here in the USA. I thought the show was camp then, and enjoyed watching it. During the time I tuned in, I went through 2 different Dr. Who stars. The medals I saw now had characters I hadn’t seen. I almost wanted to get them, but I’m not a fan anymore. It’s like the old me from way back, jumped up keenly at the opportunity to get them. Some fun things you don’t outgrow, and some fun things, like the Doctor Who series, can hold its charm from generation to generation.

After Robert Downey Jr’s epic performance in Iron Man 2, it appears there will be lots of talk about an Iron Man costume this Halloween and many more to come. The movie was not only full of action, but extremely entertaining with upgrades to Tony Starks’ high tech artillery and exoskeleton.

I’m a big fan of fictional sci-fi films and characters, which probably explains my passion for the IronMan films. What did you think about the two feature films?

Many children are still raving about the newer superhero, and outfits like the kids ironman costume where boys and girls can mimic Mark 6, should be a popular costume this season. I’m definitely looking forward to a 3rd movie in the making. You think it will happen?
